Never Grow Up's Fairy Tale Blog Party! :)

Never Grow Up Doll Guide: a Mom's Guide to Dolls and More has this Fairy Tale blog party :D! It has 11 questions (plus one bonus question) so here are my answers:

1. What is your favorite fairy tale and why?
Probably The Hobbit, The Silver Chair, or The Voage of the Dawn Treader.

2. List 4 of your favorite fairy tale hero's or heroine's and why you like them

1) Lucy Pevencie because she has such  positive attitude and because she kinda looks like me ;).

2) Bilbo Bagins because he acts the way I think a real person would in his situation, he actually gets hungry, tired, complains, and he does things like choose to hide instead of fight in one of the battles ( I would love to put more details in the the last example, but I am not going spoiler to the people who haven't read the book :) )

3) Belle because she is not only pretty, but brave, caring, and she enjoys reading very much, which to me make her a very like able character :). I also like that she actually had time to fall in love with the beast instead of being like Snow white or Cinderella were they see or meet this man once and immediately fall in love.

4) I know Giselle isn't actually from a book, but you have to like her for her bubbly personality :)

3. In your opinion, who is the most threatening fairy tale villain?

Probably the one in Sleeping Beauty, Killing with a thorn/needle on your 16th birthday sounds pretty harsh.

4.If  applicable share something special about a fairy tale book you had as a child. What made it so special?

When I was 5 and I asked my mom if I could see "Narnia The Lion, The Wich, and the Wardrobe", She got the book and read it to me, and when we finished the book we saw the movie :).

5. In your opinion, what makes a good fairy tale?

A plot that is different then from every other book, and at least a character who you can look up to, relate to, or at least has a positive attitude ( all three of these would be good too :) )

6. Who is your favorite fairy tale illustrator?

I don't have one

7. What is your favorite re-telling of a classic fairy tale and why?

Probably Disney's Tangled, I love the music, the characters, the animation,  just everything! :)

8. Which fairy tale character is most like you?

Hmmm... I love to read like Belle, I am stubborn like Jill and Aerial, I look the most like Lucy Pevencie, and I have been told I have an appetite like a Hobbits, I don't think I am most like any one character, therefore, I don't think I have an answer to this question ;).

9. If you could choose to be any fairy tale character, who would you be and why?

Maybe Lucy so I could find a magic wardrobe and discover Narnia ;).

10. If you could have one wish, what would it be?

a. a fairy godmother who would give you dazzling outfit and shoes, and whisk you away to a Royal ball

b. that you could fly

c. that you would discover an enchanting world outside of our own

d. that you would be able to go on a grand adventure

Probably C because I don't think I would enjoy a ball, If I go to high in the air I start to feel like throwing-up, and I am not the adventure type person, I would much rather read about one than be in one.

11. If you could find out anything about your favorite fairy tale character outside of the pages of his/her story, what would you want to know?

I can't really think of anything right now to answer that...

12. Share a picture of one of your dolls dressed as a fairy tale character.

I don't have one right now, but I hope to soon! :)
